Did you hear? We’re trendsetters! 🤩 PIER 39 is now the FIRST entertainment zone on the San Francisco waterfront where you can grab your drink to-go and keep the party going outside of the bar. Our first event on October 4^th just so happens to tie-in perfectly with our birthday, so we’re throwing a party! 🥳

On Saturday, October 4th from 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM, bring your besties and join the sea lions to celebrate The PIER’s birthday right in your own backyard!

HOW IT WORKS

During a designated Entertainment Zone event, anyone 21+ can purchase an alcoholic beverage from any participating restaurants or eateries and imbibe throughout The PIER all while taking in views of the Bay, Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge and of course, the world-famous sea lions!

Alcoholic beverages can only be distributed to attendees over 21 years of age and consumed in designated Entertainment Zone area. Any alcoholic beverages will not be permitted passed security checkpoints.

What is an Entertainment Zone?
San Francisco’s Entertainment Zones are areas where bars, restaurants, wineries, and breweries can sell alcoholic drinks to-go during certain hours. People can enjoy their drinks outdoors in plazas, sidewalks, or streets while experiencing creative programming like live music. These zones can support local businesses, spur economic development, and create a festive neighborhood atmosphere.

Start the party in Entrance Plaza with DJ Pauly Paul spinning all of your favorite dance hits! Bringing together the iconic tunes of yesterday and today, DJ Pauly Paul is known for creating mash-ups like you’ve never heard before! From today’s high-energy dance hits to the nostalgic Rock n’ Roll classics. Fast Times has been entertaining audiences of all ages since 1999 with the most iconic eras of music! Fast Times has raised every dance floor to an entirely new level. Performing power-packed songs from the discographies of Donna Summer, Whitney Houston, Prince, Guns n’ Roses, No Doubt, Bon Jovi, Journey, Pat Benatar, Joan Jett, Billy Idol, Bruno Mars, The Temptations, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Lizzo, and Dua Lipa – just to name a few.
